Across The Water is inspired by the love and culture that follow us no matter where we are born. The love and focus you see here in this piece from mother and daughter exhibits the faith they have in one another that anything is possible from anywhere with the right love and support. When I did this piece I wanted it to have life beyond a brush and canvas, so I added texture to what I feel holds our beauty, strength, and freedom of self-expression. ~NDG~
